For over four decades, Connie Boyd has made a lasting impact on the world of magic as a magical, award-winning magician, producer, director, inventor, and writer.
She rose to fame as a Las Vegas headliner, earning accolades like the “World Magic Awards – Best Cabaret Act,” and Monte Carlo’s “Prix du Public.”
Connie has performed in grand theaters and on global television, captivating audiences with her artistry. From 2009 to 2020, she produced and directed four all-female magic shows for international cruise lines—an unprecedented achievement that spotlighted women in a male-dominated field.
Her advocacy for women in magic continued with the creation of the Magical Women Project, including the Magical Women with Connie Boyd YouTube channel and her widely acclaimed lecture, How Women Influence Magic, presented at FISM 2022 and major conventions through 2025.
Recognized with the Academy of Magical Arts’ Special Fellowship Award, a Presidential Citation from the Society of American Magicians, and an “Innovation in Magic” award, Connie’s contributions extend beyond performance. She mentors women in magic through consulting, editorial work, and media exposure.
As Senior Associate Editor for Vanish International Magic Magazine, she’s written 50+ articles and featured well over 30 women on its covers. Currently, she has written The Power of Magical Women, a groundbreaking book documenting contemporary women in magic.
